As a Seattle wedding photographer, I know Pacific Northwest weather can be crazy. But Jackie + Tony’s spring engagement session in Seattle, Washington was everything we could have hoped for! We were prepared for the forecasted spring rain, but instead we had a sunny, clear day!
When things don’t go as planned…
Fun fact, Jackie last minute needed a dress for her engagement session. We’re talking ‘two days before the session’ last minute. I was arriving in Seattle a day before our session, so I went around Bellevue Square Mall and shopped for a dress for her. I found this white one at Anthropologie and it worked perfectly for her session!
My goal is to give you a fun + stress-free photo experience. Your photos are an investment. I will do whatever I can to make sure you LOVE them, including going shopping for you if I can haha!
When to schedule your spring Seattle session
We scheduled this engagement session at the end of April, and the timing could not have been more perfect. There were plenty of blooms at the location we selected, which you’ll see in their photos! This is the perfect time to schedule a spring session in Seattle if you’re looking to capture the blooms. The only exception would be cherry blossom season, as that is typically the first week of April.
However, if there’s anything being a Seattle wedding photographer has taught me, it’s that you should always be prepared for rain. I always carry clear umbrellas to every wedding and photoshoot. We hope we never have to use them, but I always have them handy just in case!
