Stephanie + Edgar are one of my 2022 wedding couples! We wanted to plan an engagement session in the winter, but Pacific Northwest winters are no joke! They are extremely cold, and you never know what the weather will bring on any given day. None of us were very excited about the idea of spending 2 hours outside in below freezing temps to take pictures. Instead, we opted to create a romantic + dreamy studio engagement session here in Tricities, WA.

Most people think of studio sessions as stiff or boring, but this session could not have been further away from stiff and boring. Our session was so fun and full of laughter! Stephanie + Edgar have this soft, playful love that brings out the best in both of them. I truly haven’t seen anyone in our local area create an engagement session like this, and I’m so glad Stephanie + Edgar were willing to do something different and outside the box! Their session has me even more excited to photograph their wedding day!

Stephanie’s blush, satin dress is from Hotoveli Boutique, which is local to the Tricities, and is part of my client wardrobe (available to all portrait session clients). The beautiful bouquet from Sassafras Flowers by Shera added a romantic + feminine touch to the photos and was such a great choice. Stephanie’s black dress is from Concept Apparel (also local to Tricities) and is also part of my client wardrobe.
