Sydney and I were actually roommates in college! I’ve been able to see the progression from when Sydney met Cole to now welcoming their first child together. It has been such a special journey to witness. I was honored when they asked me to take their maternity photos!

A Scenic, Spring Maternity Session

Seattle offers some of the most stunning backdrops for maternity photography, and this session was no exception. We chose a gorgeous location that was blooming with spring buds. It was a breathtaking setting that perfectly complemented Cole & Sydney’s pink outfits for their baby girl! As the sunlight peeked through the clouds for us, we captured intimate moments that reflected their excitement and deep connection.

Capturing the Love and Anticipation

One of the best parts of being a Seattle Family Photographer is witnessing the unique bond between parents-to-be. I genuinely feel like you can see in these photos how much Sydney & Cole love each other and how excited they are to welcome their first baby girl into the world. I always provide prompts to help couples feel comfortable with each other without feeling awkward, allowing their genuine emotions to shine through. One of my favorite moments from this session was when I asked, “What personality traits do you hope your daughter inherits from your spouse?” The heartfelt responses led to a series of emotional and joyful expressions that truly captured their love and excitement for their baby. So precious!
